October... usually the time of frenzy for fantasy basketball junkies like me as the drafting starts right around this time. It feels weird and i'm gonna miss it but i'm junking fball at least for this season, in favor of other subjects i enjoy. Coursera.org is one of them.
Coursera.org is described as the "next big thing" with good reasons of course. Firstly, its a free online course with diverse subjects in relatively short durations. Secondly and more importantly, the team of instructors facilitating the short courses are representing the top universities in the world. (Stanford, Duke, Princeton among others)
Really excited about this coz this is world-class education and it would be great to exchange ideas with people who share the same interests as mine. So far i registered in "Intro to Astronomy" which is due to start this Nov. and "Ancient Greeks" in March next year... damn... i sure hope i handle this well hahaha.
